Xylophones

 

Queensland Percussion Products professional model Xylophones have been designed to produce the finest tone quality with bars of carefully selected, aged Honduras Rosewood, hand finished and accurately tuned. All bars are supported on a soft durable cord at their precise nodal points to produce maximum resonance from each bar. Each keyboard is balanced for consistent timbre. Gold finished resonators can be mounted in two different positions to compensate for variation in temperature and humidity.

The P3.5 offers the same fine quality and workmanship as the P4 over a 3 ½ octave range, F - C. An ideal instrument for both professional and student.

Student Models

The S3 Xylophone once again meets all the exacting standards of both P3.5 and P4. Designed primarily as a student instrument, bars are made from selected Padauk

The S3T student table top model provides the beginning xylophone player with the advantage of practising on a full size keyboard with the added benefit of being able to add a stand and resonators to upgrade this instrument to full S3 standard.

Features

• Collapsible stand, adjustable height (75-100cm) finished in durable black satin powder coating. Stand may be dismantled into four parts for ease of transport. All parts can be tightened to eliminate extraneous noise.

• Solid black texture coat wood frame. (Attractive natural wood grain frames also available).

• Four 75 mm rubber castors (Two with brakes).

• Protective vinyl drop cover and mallets (1pr) supplied with all models. (Except S3T).

• Tuning accuracy +/- 1/100 semitone plus precise harmonic tuning.

• Standard tuning A=440. Alternative tuning available on request.

• All replacement parts available from QPP.
